Our client operates a reputable cattle property located approximately 50km from St George, QLD. The station is known for its strong team environment, well-maintained facilities, and commitment to best-practice livestock and land management. This Station Hand role offers a mix of cattle handling, machinery operation, and general station duties. Reporting to the Property Manager, you’ll be part of a small team responsible for day-to-day operations across the property.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
• Livestock handling, including cattle work and mustering.
• General station maintenance such as fencing and water runs.
• Operation of machinery and equipment as required.
• Supporting broader property operations as part of a cohesive team.
Selection Criteria:
• Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Ability to work independently and within a small team.
• Confidence working with cattle and riding a 2-wheel bike.
• Manual driver’s licence essential.
Additional Particulars:
• Single accommodation provided.
• Casual wages paid weekly.
• Variety of work with potential for long-term employment for the right person.
